Job Vacancy | Senior Oracle Cloud ERP (P2P and/or Taxation) Consultant(s)

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Cloud ERP Consultant specialising in P2P and/or Taxation to join our talented delivery team in a client facing role, working on exciting projects across our broad client base.

You will:

  • Lead/engage with clients on ERP transformation/change programmes
  • Demonstrate your focus on the client relationship
  • Analyse their situation, and follow-up with a solution
  • Work with clients to structure their ERP function
  • Scope and run ERP elements of projects/programmes
  • Provide insight, innovation and thought leadership to clients on the latest thinking across ERP
  • Contribute to planning, scoping and shaping the ERP elements of projects and programmes
  • Demonstrate stakeholder and client management

Location & Commitments

  • Permanent contract
  • Full-time, 37.5 Hours
  • Location: Remote with travel to our offices and client sites, UK wide; if you are successful for this position you will be expected to travel as the project requires, which may include overnight stays away from your home location.Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) including Disclosure Barring Scotland (DBS) is a minimum requirement for all roles. This will be completed as part of pre-employment checks by de Novo’s third party supplier Credence

Person Specification | P2P

Skills and experience you will need:

  • Proven experience of multiple full cycle implementation projects
  • Able to demonstrate solution ownership for Oracle ERP Cloud Procurement
  • Proven hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Cloud P2P modules
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud P2P processes, including Procurement, Inventory, Sourcing, and Payables
  • Proficiency in configuring and customising Oracle Cloud P2P applications
  • Experience in leading end-to-end implementation projects, from requirements gathering to post go-live support
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work as part of a team in both agile and waterfall project environment

Person Specification | Taxation

Skills and experience you will need:

  • Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Specialist with a focus on tax management
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud applications, particularly those related to taxation
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Implementation of Oracle Cloud tax solutions specific to UK market such as CIS, reverse taxation or similar
  • Experience in leading end-to-end implementation projects, from requirements gathering to post go-live support
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work as part of a team in both agile and waterfall project environments

It would be of benefit if you also have: 

  • Oracle Cloud certifications in P2P modules
  • A fully or part qualified procurement professional (CIPS Level 3 and above or equivalent)
  • An understanding of the key business issues/drivers that result in clients pursuing transformation programmes
  • Experience of multiple industry sectors (Local and Central Government is a plus)
  • Experience of operating and implementing in a cloud environment and understanding the impacts of implementing and operating on the cloud versus on premise
  • Experience of at least one delivery project Oracle ERP project, either Cloud or EBS
  • Experience of configuration Oracle Cloud Procurement
  • Oracle Cloud certification in Procurement
  • Relevant certifications for Oracle ERP Cloud

Remuneration

This varies accordingly to role, but generally the package consists of:

  • Basic salary
  • Eligibility to enrol into the Company auto-enrolment pension scheme (within 3 months of commencing employment). The Company contribute 5% based upon qualifying earning; your contributions will be based upon by UK government legislation
  • Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays. Our holiday year runs in line with our accounting period from 1st June to 31st May
  • Eligibility to participate in the employee utilisation scheme (i). You could earn up to an additional 10% of your gross basic salary per annum paid over three instalments across the preceding financial year
  • Death in Service benefit 4 x gross salary(ii)
  • Internal recruitment initiative – £5K reward per experience hire after 6 months’ successful probation period; £1K reward per apprentice/graduate hire after 6 months’ successful probation period
  • Certified training in both ServiceNow and Oracle SaaS Cloud
  • Paid expenses outside your base location, as per company policy

    (i) Guaranteed 10% for 2023/24.  The Employee Utilisation Scheme is non-contractual and may be subject to change or removal at the sole discretion of the Directors.   Further information on how you have opportunity to potentially achieve these earnings will be discussed once you have joined the Company and objectives and targets have been set 
    (ii) Available from 2024
